John Murphy bought his first car back in 1996, a Ford Cobra Mustang. Since then, John found his way to Colorado and became one of our drivers! Although John’s first rafting trip was in 2021, he knows Clear Creek well now! His favorite section of the creek is the Double Knife. He is a pro at helping our rafters get around, and he loves to drive them! Even though the drive up and down Clear Creek is gorgeous, his favorite scenic drive is Loveland Pass, his favorite outlook is the Professor and his pick for the best waterfall is Guanella Pass Waterfall. Although not originally from Colorado, John has found plenty to enjoy, including the people and the fact that it’s not Wyoming! On his days off, you might find John hiking or spending time with his little one!
