On his days off, you might find John hiking or spending time with his little one! - [Kieth Pereles](https://gorafting.co/staff/kieth-pereles/): Kieth Pereles first river trip was when he joined in on his cousin’s boy scout troop trip in 1984 on Lehigh River in Eastern Pennsylvania. It may have been a bit of a rocky start, as he was the kid who refused to wear a wetsuit and swam, but it worked out because he started training to become a guide on the Arkansas River in Colorado in June of 1996. After many seasons of private kayaking and raft guiding, he started guiding professionally on Clear Creek in 2004. Since then, Kieth has guided in Colorado and West Virginia. When asked what his favorite river of all time is, Kieth answered: - [Audrey Alvisio](https://gorafting.co/staff/audrey-alvisio/): Audrey, one of our drivers, got her first car, a Mazda 6, in 2019! Originally coming to Colorado for college, her favorite things in the state are the atmosphere and mountains, as well as snowboarding. If you see her heading down Clear Creek, her favorite section is Hell’s Corner. Clear Creek County has a ton to offer, but Audrey’s favorite restaurant is Main Street Cafe, hiking trail is West Chicago Creek trail and her favorite scenic drive is Two Brothers Road. Shelby loves to trail run, Chief Mountain trail being her favorite to hit on her days off. Afterwards, Shelby likes to order a pie from Pickaxe pizza. Even though her first river trip was this year, that hasn’t stopped her from hitting the rapids on her days off. As a Colorado native, Ashley appreciates the state's natural colors, various rivers and towering mountains. On her days off, Ashley loves to drive through and hike up the Rockies. Although he might not have a favorite part of the creek, his favorite things in Clear Creek County include Tommyknocker Brewery, the Argo Mill and Tunnel and loves the scenic drive through the canyon. With 24 years of experience under his belt, Ron has guided rapids on 10 rivers spanning across three states: Colorado, California and West Virginia, and two countries: the U.S. and Costa Rica. Overall, Ron’s favorite trip was 28-days on the Grand Canyon! Though his favorite trip for scenery is Toro River, Costa Rica, the trip he thinks is the most exciting is Bailey Canyon on the North Fork of the South Platte River. On his day off, you might find Ron hiking, biking, hitting the slopes in the winter or on a thrilling overnight rafting trip! - [Oliver Carter](https://gorafting.co/staff/oliver-carter/): Oliver Carter is one of our experienced white water rafting guides. He has been guiding folks down rivers for 7 years at this point and has done so across the continental US, in Tennessee, California, and North Carolina. He has also guided in Puerto Rico. He got his start as a guide back in 2014, on the Ocoee river in Tennessee; a river with excellent rapids such as the Cat's Pajamas and Slice-n-Dice! His favorite overall rafting trip was going down the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon, but he also mentions North Folk and the Huron River as particularly exciting or scenic river journeys. As a guide, Oliver has a great deal of knowledge on rafting (and tan lines) to impart to his passengers. When he isn’t on the river, he likes to hike with his dog and go snowboarding.
