The upper Colorado Whitewater River trip is the perfect family adventure for those visiting Summit County and Grand County Colorado, as well as those that live in the Denver Metro area. This river trip starts at the Pump House put in where rest rooms and changing rooms are available before the raft trip. This section of the Colorado River offers stunning views of bald eagles flying overhead, wildlife drinking from the river banks, historical cabins, and natural hot springs that pool up next to the canyon walls. Your experienced guide will make sure to stop and give you and your group the opportunity of experiencing a natural hot spring in such a beautiful river setting. The Colorado River whitewater rafting also has many opportunities for swimming in deep pools while your guide prepares a wonderful lunch on the river bank. Lunch includes a deli buffet with your choice of meats and breads along with a vegetarian option. Different sides include homemade pasta and bean salads, chips and salsa, peanut butter and jelly, and cookies and cake for dessert will make sure no one in the group leaves hungry. After lunch we continue down the Colorado River until we reach our take out at Radium, Colorado.
Each trip meets at 9 am in our Frisco, CO office unless you chose to meet at the Pump House put in, which will meet at 10:30 am. We do provide free transportation for all guests starting at our Frisco, CO office location. We also provide free wetsuits for anyone who might need them along with booties and splash tops for $3/each or $5 for both. All of our certified guides have at least 4 years of experience and are here to provide you with the safest and most unforgettable experience you can have in Colorado.
